How do stars and ranks work?

Stars increase your rank. Each new rank also brings rewards to collect.

Where to get stars

• First-attempt chests. Win an eligible level on your first try to earn a chest containing stars. Levels marked hard, very hard, or quest award more than regular levels.
• Challenge levels. Win a level marked one try! to earn a reward that includes stars.
• Shop purchases. Purchases in the Shop can also award stars.

Levels marked gold rush! don’t have a first-attempt reward, so you can’t earn first-attempt stars from them.

Check your rank and claim rewards

Select the rank button to see your current rank and stars. You begin as Newby, then progress through ranks such as Hidden Pearl, Rising Star, and Bold Claw. The highest rank is Sea Sovereign.

When you rank up, the New Rank window appears. Select Claim Reward to collect your reward.
