What are challenge levels?

A level marked one try! is a challenge level. Before you start, the CHALLENGE LEVEL! screen warns you that you only have one attempt.

• Win, and you’ll receive a larger reward than you would for a regular win on the same type of level. The reward includes stars for your rank.
• Lose, and the game skips the level and takes you to the next one. You won’t receive the skipped level’s reward or get another attempt at it.

Any level type except gold rush! can become a challenge level. That includes hard levels and quest levels.

Before you make your first move

Check every goal and consider selecting starting boosters. During play, in-level boosters can help you finish without using a move. Look for chances to swap two power-ups together: their combined effect can clear more than either one alone.
