How can I beat a difficult level?
If a level is giving you trouble, take a moment to check what each move will accomplish.
Start with the goals. Look at every goal before your first move. Favor matches beside obstacles you need to clear or near items you need to collect.
Look for power-up shapes. Four pieces in a line make a Rocket; four in a square make a Fish. Five in a T, L, or U shape make a Bomb, and five in a line make a Plasma Ball.
Combine nearby power-ups. Swap two adjacent power-ups for a stronger effect. A Bomb and Rocket, for example, blast three rows and three columns.
Use Fish to reach useful targets. The game sends each Fish to a target that helps with your level goals.
Check how an obstacle works. Wooden Boxes stop Rocket blasts, but Paper Boxes don’t. Granite needs a Pickaxe, and a Safe can only be opened with power-ups. Shells gradually close again if you stop hitting them.
Choose boosters for the problem you’re facing. Starting boosters unlock at level 6. In-level boosters begin unlocking at level 8 with the Spade, letting you act on the board without spending a move.
Build a first-attempt winning streak. From level 32, each consecutive first-attempt win upgrades your Ancient Amphora. Higher stages give you more power-ups at the start of the next level.
Consider extra moves when you’re close. If only a little remains, you can add moves and carry on from your current board instead of starting over.
