How do I collect Amphoras?

An Amphora is collected automatically when it reaches a cell marked with arrows at the bottom of the board. You can’t match it or destroy it with matches or power-ups.

Clearing a path

Amphoras fall when the space beneath them opens up. Make matches below them and remove anything blocking the way, such as Wooden Boxes. A Rocket or Bomb can clear several cells beneath an Amphora in one move.

You can also swap an Amphora with a neighboring power-up. The power-up activates, and the Amphora takes its place.

Are these the same as Ancient Amphoras?

No. Ancient Amphoras are a reward for winning consecutive levels on your first try. From level 32, they add power-ups to the board at the start of a level. Read more about Ancient Amphoras.
