How do I remove Ropes?

Ropes hold a piece in place: it can’t fall or be swapped with another piece. It can still be part of a match.

Freeing the piece

• Make a match that includes it. Move at least two other pieces of the same color into line with the locked piece. A match beside it won’t remove the Ropes unless the locked piece is part of that match.
• Hit its cell with a power-up. The blast removes the Ropes.

Ropes don’t stop a Rocket’s blast, so it can pass through them and reach cells beyond.
