How does the Plasma Ball work?

A straight line of five pieces of the same color creates a Plasma Ball. A large T shape made from seven matching pieces can also create one.

Choose a color to remove

Swap the Plasma Ball with a neighboring piece. It removes all pieces of that color from the board. For example, swapping with an orange piece removes all the orange pieces.

You can also tap a Plasma Ball on its own. In that case, the game chooses the color for you.

When you can choose, look for a color whose pieces are near the items or obstacles you need for your goals.

Combine it with another power-up

• Plasma Ball + Rocket, Bomb, or Fish: turns all pieces of one color into that power-up, then activates them.
• Plasma Ball + Plasma Ball: hits every cell on the board.

Combining a Plasma Ball with another power-up usually has a greater effect than using it with an ordinary piece.

You can also begin a level with a Plasma Ball by selecting the Plasma Ball starting booster.
